The cabin is exactly as it appears in the pictures. Quiet location. Would go back for sure.
This cabin was great. Located in a busy area if you like short walking distances to the center of activities, yet far enough away it was not loud. Loved the outdoor area. Disappointed the indoor fire place was turned off for the summer. I enjoy Fire year around but would recommend this cabin to any couple.
The Birdhouse Cabin was set up perfectly for a couple. However it was a little quirky. The ice maker in the refrigerator makes a sound like someone knocking on the door, even in the middle of the night. The fan above the bed makes a ticking sound, so it’s really tough for a light sleeper. The bathroom is really nice, but the attached “throne room” is really tight quarters, even for a small person like me. Not only that, even though the neighboring cabins were only somewhat visible through the trees on the back deck, privacy was still questionable due to the driveway to one of the other cabins going right past the deck. Would I still recommend this cabin? Absolutely! It’s perfectly quiet on a day if you just wanted to stay in and read or watch something on TV. Most of our time at the cabin was spent comfortably indoors doing just that, or walking the surrounding area for exercise. It’s also located in a place where coffee, pastries, ice cream, and even some great food options is within walking distance.
